Reading Softball Little League 2024 Rules:

Junior Division

6 Inning Games

Bunting is allowed

Infield Fly Rule is not in Effect.

No dropped 3rd Strike

6 Run Max Per Inning: Continuation play does apply at end of inning. Ex: 5 runs in and runners at 2nd and 3rd.  No additional runs can be scored once an infielder has control of the ball. 

Last inning is unlimited Runs.  This is only if it is the 6th Inning.

Pitcher, 1st and 3rd all have to wear Fielders masks. No exceptions

All Stealing is allowed.

Players can't leave the base until ball crosses home plate. 1st time ball is dead even on batted ball and team gets a warning and batter goes back to bat at Original Count.  2nd time runner is out.  1 warning per game.

15 run Mercy rule after 5 innings. 4 1/2 if home team is winning.

Players must play at least 2 innings in the Field.

Pitchers can only pitch 9 innings per week. Week starts Sunday and ends Saturday. One pitch in an inning is an inning. If there is a 3rd game in a week they may pitch 12 innings that week

Only a Starting Pitcher can re-enter the game to pitch again.

Players must slide on close plays. Ruled Out on Umpires Discretion

Pitchers Mound is 40 Feet.

Ball is dead when the ball is back in Pitchers Circle or Umpire Rules Time Out.

 No inning may start after 1:45 of game play

4 Outfielders and No Short Fielder.

You can obtain an out at First from Right Field but it has to be on a throw not the right Fielder running the ball to the base.
