Reading Softball Little League 2024 Rules:

Minor Division

6 Inning Games

No stealing or leading

Maximum of 5 run Rule per inning except in the last inning where as many runs can score as possible before 3 outs are made or after one round of the batting order has been completed. No additional runs can be scored once an infielder has control of the ball.

Teams are allowed to use up to 10 fielders and must include the entire roster in the batting rotation based on the team with the most players in a particular game.

Coaches will pitch to player.  3 swing and misses and then ball is placed on a tee for player to hit.

All Equipment including bats, Helmets, gloves, etc., must be kept off the filed of play either behind the bench or in the dugout.

Any Hit to the outfield the player can keep running until the ball is back and secured by a fielder in the infield. They can continue to the base they are currently running to and then stop.

No Bunting

No Infield Fly Rule

Pitcher, 3rd Base and First Base all must wear Safety Mask

4 Outfielders and all must be on the edge of the outfield grass

A semi-circle will be drawn in lime in front of home plate to determine a foul ball on a dribbler off the bat

No infielders can play closer than 3 feet  from the actual position they are playing

No inning will start after 90 minutes of play during Regular Season.

Playoffs:  :  No inning will start after 1:45 of play

No ties in playoffs
